Cornerstone Capital Bank is hiring a Junior Mortgage Loan Processor to bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach to our mortgage team. You’ll join a tight-knit, goal-oriented group of professionals dedicated to ensuring an accurate and timely closing process.
What You'll Do
- Assist Originators and Customers through the loan process.
- Order and review all verification documents, including insurance, title work, tax transcripts, verification of employment, verification of deposits, flood certifications, and payoffs.
- Assist in funding a minimum of 20 units per month while working towards the same target for the following month.
- Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely closings.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on changes to market conditions.
- Communicate with borrowers, operations staff, title companies, and Realtors to expedite the mortgage process.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending.

- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA underwriting guidelines.
- Ability to independently calculate all types of self-employed income.
- TRID knowledge.
- Experience using LoanSoft LOS.
- SalesForce experience and knowledge of working within a database.
