My100 Bank is hiring a Mortgage Loan Construction Administrator to join our Community Bank team. This role establishes and maintains construction loan accounts and administers draws, performing the builder approval process and supporting clients and builders through to closing.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and provide approval for Construction Perm loans before and at closing.
- Process preclosing by reviewing construction contracts, plans, specifications, site plans, and title work.
- Review and file recorded documents for accuracy post-closing.
- Create and manage full inspections throughout the construction phase.
- Approve essential documents including Builders Risk insurance, Builder Liability insurance, Flood Insurance, Notice to Owners, and Lien Waivers.
- Process final draws and facilitate loan modifications.
- Utilize reports and data to monitor workload and loan status.
- Oversee extensions of Notice of Commencements.
- Process extensions for the interest-only term on Construction Perm loans.
- Provide support for the Home Builder Approval Program.
- Collaborate with Borrowers and Builders to address inquiries.
- Monitor past due Construction Perm loans.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and bank information.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Complete required BSA/AML training and other assigned compliance training.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, and finance.
- Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 5 years of related experience and/or training, and 2 years of related management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables.
- Mastery of 10-Key and Alphanumeric Data Entry.
- Advanced Word Processing and Typing skills.
- Intermediate skills in Accounting, Contact Management, Database, and Spreadsheet software.
Nice to Have
- Notary certification.
