Climate First Bank is hiring a Mortgage Discloser Specialist (TRID Specialist)

About the Role

The specialist will manage the preparation and review of mortgage loan disclosures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, particularly TRID, while coordinating with underwriting and closing departments.

Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate and timely loan estimates and closing disclosures
  • Ensure compliance with TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure rules
  • Review loan files for data consistency and regulatory alignment
  • Collaborate with loan officers and processors to resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor timelines for disclosure delivery and client acknowledgments
  • Respond to auditor and regulator inquiries related to disclosure practices
  • Maintain updated knowledge of federal and state lending regulations
  • Support quality control reviews for disclosure documentation
  • Track disclosure statuses in loan origination systems
  • Escalate compliance risks to management promptly
  • Assist in training team members on disclosure procedures
  • Prepare reports on disclosure metrics and turnaround times
  • Verify borrower information across financial documents
  • Coordinate with title and settlement service providers
  • Ensure proper delivery methods for disclosures are documented
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Handle high volumes of loan files across multiple product types
  • Maintain confidentiality of borrower financial data
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Adapt to changes in regulatory requirements and policy updates
