Zippy is looking for a Bilingual Spanish Mortgage Collections Specialist to provide best-in-class service and support customers throughout their home ownership journey. In this crucial role, you will be the face of the organization, reaching out to customers past due on their home loan payments to understand their situations and establish workable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Conduct professional and empathetic outbound calls to customers behind on home loan payments.
- Assess customers' financial situations, understand reasons for delinquency, and collaborate to find suitable solutions.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to establish feasible payment plans or alternative arrangements while adhering to company policies.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Educate customers on the importance of timely payments, potential consequences of non-payment, and available resources.
- Resolve customer concerns and disputes effectively, maintaining a positive and professional relationship.
- Provide regular updates on collection efforts, identifying trends and recommending improvements to management.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in collections or a similar role.
- Proven track record of achieving outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to maintain and ensure a high level of integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort learning new technologies, including OneDrive (Microsoft systems), Asana, and proprietary custom built software.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Must reside in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, or Wisconsin.
