About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform in-home euthanasia procedures with compassion and professionalism
- Conduct wellness and hospice evaluations for aging or ill pets
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about treatment options and prognosis
- Maintain accurate medical records after each visit
- Provide pain management and palliative care recommendations
- Travel to client residences within a designated service area
- Support families emotionally during end-of-life decisions
- Collaborate with referring veterinarians when needed
- Follow established clinical protocols and safety guidelines
- Manage controlled substances in compliance with regulations
- Educate clients on pet health and end-of-life processes
- Respond promptly to urgent care requests
