Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is looking for a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to provide operational support to our South East Region. At JLL, we empower our people to shape a brighter way, combining world-class services and technology for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Proactively deliver engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses.
- Work on equipment including Recip, Scroll, Screw, Centrif and Turbocor compressors and their associated controls.
- Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours.
- Support out-of-hours works by being part of a standby rota.
- Observe internal and client support functions to meet customer and business objectives.
- Ensure engineering tasks are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance.
- Take responsibility for the quality of each task by ensuring all practices conform to agreed standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector and customer expectations.
- Appropriate technical competencies and certificates, such as 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, or Ammonia.
- Successfully completed a recognised training course in Industrial Refrigeration, or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of experience with refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning, building controls, food factory equipment, and general electrical systems.
- A good base knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large tonnage chillers.
- Experience with large central plant chilled water systems from manufacturers like Carrier, York, McQuay, Climaveneta, Daikin, Trane, J&E Hall, and GEA.
- Experience on refrigeration compressors from manufacturers like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom, and others.
Work Mode
This role operates on a local-country basis from our London, GBR location.
