Remote Talent LATAM is seeking a Mobile Engineer for a hands-on role building and maintaining high-quality consumer-facing mobile applications for iOS or Android. You will contribute to app development, deployment, API integrations, and real-time features in a collaborative, agile environment.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to building and maintaining direct-to-consumer (D2C) mobile applications for iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
- Integrate and manage dependencies using Swift Package Manager (SPM) for iOS or Gradle for Android.
- Support the deployment process to the App Store or Google Play, including TestFlight/Play Console distributions.
- Build clean, responsive, mobile-first UIs in collaboration with design leads.
- Help implement real-time messaging and push notification features using Firebase, WebSocket, or similar technologies.
- Integrate REST APIs and contribute to secure authentication flows (OAuth, JWT, biometrics).
- Use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to assist in coding, debugging, and prototyping.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in mobile app development, with a focus on iOS/Android.
- Solid understanding of Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS development practices, or experience with Kotlin/Java for Android development.
- Experience contributing to at least one production iOS or Android app.
- Familiarity with dependency management tools such as Swift Package Manager (SPM) or Gradle, and knowledge of app deployment processes.
- Understanding of RESTful API integration and mobile authentication best practices.
- Strong interest in UI/UX design with the ability to implement clean, pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Eagerness to learn cross-platform skills and collaborate across iOS and Android development.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $4,000 USD/month. (Negotiable based on experience)
- Working hours: 9 AM – 5 PM PST.
- 2 weeks of PTO, aligned with U.S. holidays.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates located in Latin America (LATAM) countries.
