CoStar Group is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing and developing scalable iOS applications, providing technical leadership, and mentoring junior engineers with a strong build and operate mindset.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop scalable, high-quality iOS applications.
- Write, review, and architect code using modern engineering practices.
- Stay updated with new technologies and apply them appropriately.
- Help reduce technical debt and improve system health.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take end-to-end ownership of services (build and operate mindset).
- Participate in on-call rotations and handle incidents.
- Maintain and update systems to improve reliability.
What We're Looking For
- Strong iOS development experience using Swift.
- Knowledge of mobile development best practices.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SwiftUI or UIKit.
- Familiarity with Swift Package Manager.
- Experience working with REST APIs or GraphQL.
- Knowledge of AWS and DevOps tools.
- Experience with Firebase or RealmSwift.
