Work on the Devices team to create and improve mobile and embedded applications used by independent pizzerias across the UK. Partner with designers, stakeholders, and engineers to deliver reliable, user-friendly solutions in a remote, cross-regional environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop polished and user-friendly interfaces for apps used by customers and business operators
- Partner with fellow developers to design and implement robust, scalable software systems
- Collaborate with design teams and stakeholders to introduce new features and improve current functionalities
- Connect and support integration with proprietary in-shop embedded systems
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience in iOS development
- Hands-on background building iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and Core Data
- Ability to contribute thoughtfully to product design discussions while valuing others' perspectives
- Self-driven and flexible, with a track record of delivering results efficiently under time constraints
- Proven communication and collaboration skills with both technical teams and non-technical partners
- Experience working remotely and asynchronously with colleagues across different time zones and cultural backgrounds
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with or interest in Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Background in Python, especially for building backend web services
- Exposure to embedded systems development
