Responsibilities
- Lead technical efforts across all stages of mission development, including proposal formulation, testing, launch, on-orbit activation, demonstrations, and operational execution.
- Ensure timely delivery of contractual obligations and translate customer mission goals into specific development criteria, objectives, and verification strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact with customers during meetings and reviews to define interface specifications, test protocols, operational procedures, mission design, system risks, and flight readiness.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance program objectives, working across subsystem teams to evaluate trade-offs and ensure full mission success.
- Support all program phases from concept and proposal through testing, launch, and on-orbit commissioning, including customer education on design approaches and engineering methodologies.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment. - Must pass DoD level background checks for entry into various government facilities.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
