Transreport is seeking a Mid-Senior QA Engineer to ensure the reliability of our UK and Global web and mobile platforms. You will lead manual quality assurance for a B2B SaaS platform that improves accessibility in rail travel, where reliability in live, safety-critical environments is paramount as the system grows in complexity.
What You'll Do
- Own the manual testing lifecycle for web (Vue.js/Rails) and mobile (Native Swift/Kotlin) applications.
- Participate in design and requirements sessions to clarify how acceptance criteria are tested before development.
- Maintain and expand the TestRail repository, deciding what needs manual testing versus automation.
- Act as the final gatekeeper for releases, conducting smoke tests and regression passes.
- Verify consistency across web dashboard and mobile apps, ensuring correct data sync.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in manual QA for web and mobile applications.
- Process mindset with demonstrated ability to improve QA workflows.
- Comfortable context switching between legacy and greenfield/scaling projects.
- Mobile proficiency, knowing differences between iOS versus Android testing and mobile constraints.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Government, Public Transport, or Logistics sectors.
- Experience testing SaaS platforms with complex user permissions.
