About the Role
The MHPSS Specialist will provide mental health and psychosocial support services in post-conflict areas of Salah al-Din Governorate, focusing on community-based interventions and ensuring accessibility for vulnerable populations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a post-conflict setting with sensitivity to trauma-affected populations
- Proven experience working in multicultural environments with diverse community groups
- Capacity to perform duties under high-pressure conditions with consistent reliability
- Willingness and ability to conduct regular travel to field locations including Tikrit, Baiji, Shirqat, Samarra, and Balad
- Ability to access remote and rural areas that may require walking over uneven terrain
- Readiness to work outdoors and adapt to variable weather and field conditions
