OCBC Bank is looking for a MGR, Credit Risk Data Engineer to join the Credit Infrastructure & Solution Team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain the systems and models crucial for measuring, managing, and optimizing credit risk. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive business outcomes and mitigate risk as part of the Bank’s journey of transformation.
What You'll Do
- Participate in credit risk data engineering tasks, including coding and testing data transformation and aggregation processes.
- Develop and implement analytical applications to monitor data integrity and obtain data-driven insights for the Bank’s credit portfolio.
- Optimise methodologies for measuring credit risk and capital requirement, and communicate the business impacts with stakeholders.
- Advise business on appropriate Credit RWA treatment and improve or automate reporting processes.
- Prepare and ensure data quality for regulatory and management credit risk reports.
What We're Looking For
- A strong data engineering background.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders and facilitate data analytics.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of banking products and risk management concepts.
- Independent, creative, with a pro-active problem-solving mindset.
- Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Python-based open-source analytical libraries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Power BI.
Nice to Have
- Good understanding of the Basel Framework, MAS637 regulations, and credit products.
- Experience conducting regular credit portfolio or financial reporting exercises in financial institutions.
