Knorr-Bremse / New York Air Brake is hiring an MES Developer to expand our Manufacturing Execution System capabilities. In this role, you will develop and enhance MES applications on the Tulip platform, focusing on hardware integration, process optimization, and automation to drive production efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Develop MES applications on the Tulip platform to create manufacturing supervision solutions.
- Expand MES functionalities on production lines, including hardware integration, process optimization, and automation.
- Design interfaces with ERP and PLM systems.
- Build solutions for processing and analyzing production line data.
- Design dashboards for production tracking, including weekly KPI comparison and trend visualization.
- Support the implementation of work instructions and tracking systems.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience implementing and developing MES systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Good system perspective and structured thinking.
- Proactivity and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with databases.
- Knowledge of ERP, PLM, and MES system architectures.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and industrial communication protocols like Modbus TCP and OPC UA.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Tulip platform or similar MES/IoT platforms.
- JavaScript knowledge for UI customization or embedded frontend tools.
- Experience with IoT solutions and digital transformation projects.
- Proficiency in developing manufacturing IT systems.
