Gategroup is seeking a Menu Administrative Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Menu Administrative Manager and play a key part in the Delta Air Lines menu development process. You will assist with menu data administration and communication, ensuring accurate and timely menu specifications are delivered to Delta's catering partners and service providers worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Adhere to customer-driven deadlines for all tasks related to completing and communicating new or amended menu specifications.
- Support all stakeholders, including Menu Development Chefs, Delta Customer Care teams, and catering partners, by answering menu specification questions.
- Monitor the delivery and content of vendor specifications for food items, escalating timing or accuracy issues as needed.
- Assist Catering Partners and Menu Planners by creating and updating ingredients, recipes, and menus in IFX with a goal of 100% accuracy.
- Investigate and respond to customer and caterer queries regarding Menu Specifications.
- Assist in mapping Meal Service types within the Paxia/IFX database.
- Support the maintenance of Food Service Receipt (FSR) text and Menu IDs in IFX.
- Investigate and respond to customer queries regarding printed menu materials.
- Take on other responsibilities and projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma is required.
- 2-3 years of professional work experience utilizing MS Excel and ERP software, ideally in airline catering.
- Experience working cross-functionally with customers and internal teams.
- Previous experience in a data-driven environment that utilized critical thinking.
- Experience requiring strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and time management.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, database applications, and web-based systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate concisely and confidently with internal and external customers, verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- A strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines.
Nice to Have
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Experience working with menu or pricing data within IFX/SAP or a similar environment is preferred.
