CVS Health / Oak Street Health is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to provide essential counseling services and help build our MinuteClinic practice. This is a 40 hour/week, fully remote position providing support to clients ages 13+ in Arizona.

What You'll Do

• Provide psychosocial support and education to address the mental wellbeing of individuals, couples, and families ages 13+.
• Build and grow the MinuteClinic practice without the burden of payor contracting, credentialing, and billing.
• Utilize evidence-based care and access to assessment and treatment planning tools to support patient care continuity.
• Provide short-term counseling leveraging methodologies like motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

What We're Looking For

• Current, active, and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed (Clinical) Professional Counselor (LPC or LCPC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure.
• Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills.
• Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited College or University.

Nice to Have

• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and team skills.
• Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery.
• Proven deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on multiple platforms.
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance, Medicaid, Medicare billing requirements.
• Evidence of strong crisis intervention skills.
• Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting.
