Livin Farms AgriFood GmbH is hiring a Member Services Representative

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is looking for a Member Services Representative to deliver a wide range of financial services primarily through telephone contact. You will be responsible for member transactions, information dissemination, problem resolution, and suggesting appropriate products and services.

What You'll Do

• Provide phone service for savings accounts: inform members, initiate new account openings, calculate dividends, process withdrawals and transfers, quote activity, file maintain accounts, initiate stop payments, research accounts, and take statement copy requests.
• Provide telephone service for checking accounts: inform members, initiate new account openings with ATM/VCC and overdraft protection, calculate dividends, quote activity, assist with problem solving, transfer funds, file maintain accounts, assist with ordering checks and replacement ATM/VCC cards, order microfilm copies, and handle research requests.
• Provide phone service regarding loans: provide limited information on all loan types including APR, repayment schedules, and insurance costs; process Home Equity, Designer Loan, and Line of Credit advance requests; discuss payments, insurance, and payroll deductions; complete file maintenance.
• Provide phone service regarding Savings Certificates and IRA accounts: provide limited information on account types, rates, opening processes, and activity.
• Provide phone service regarding VISA: process payment transfers from member accounts, provide general information, initiate the process to send applications, and explain the review process.
• Provide phone support for Online Banking, Bill Pay, A2A, and P2P: give general information on processes and features, aid in new Online Banking enrollment, troubleshoot enrollment, connection, and processing issues, reset passwords, unlock accounts, and escalate calls to the eServices Team.
• Provide phone support for ATM and Debit Cards: verify Debit Card transactions, order replacement cards and PINs, cancel lost or stolen cards, troubleshoot card and transaction issues, reset PIN attempts, add travel, denial, and internet exceptions, resolve fraud cases in Case Tracker, and remove card restrictions.
• Process Check By Phone loan payments through SWBC.
• Provide general information on promotions, contests, and Credit Union happenings.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One to Two years of related work experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills for telephone member contact
• Strong basic level math skills
• Proficient use of PC and all technology required for the job function
• Ability to take direction and follow through on assigned tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to deal with member reaction in adverse situations
