Penumbra is looking for a Medical Writer, Scientific Communications to produce and manage high-fidelity scientific content. You will join a team dedicated to advancing medical understanding through precise, evidence-based communication.
What You'll Do
- Develop, write, and edit a variety of scientific communication materials
- Translate complex clinical data and research findings into clear, accurate content
- Ensure all materials meet high standards of scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align scientific narratives with strategic objectives
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining quality
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in a life science discipline
- Proven experience in medical writing within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry
- Strong understanding of clinical research, trial design, and regulatory guidelines
- Exceptional scientific writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to critically analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources
