Amgen Inc. is seeking a Medical Global Training and Development Senior Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing educational programs that enhance the understanding and application of therapeutic areas and data within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to create a stimulating learning environment for global medical affairs employees.
What You'll Do
- Design and create comprehensive learning materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of educational content.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive learning sessions for employees, utilizing various forms of learning.
- Tailor learning programs to meet the diverse learning needs of employees at different levels within different functions.
- Develop and implement learning strategies to improve scientific communication skills and foster a learning culture across the company.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the organization's scientific knowledge base.
- Work closely with internal and external groups to develop and execute learning programs.
What We're Looking For
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience
- Master’s degree and 4 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience
- Associate’s degree and 10 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience
Nice to Have
- A professional degree of Pharm.D., MD/DO, or PhD in a relevant medical science field with 5 or more years of biotech/pharmaceutical and/or clinical experience
- Understanding of learning methodology and design
- Excellent technical writing, oral, presentation, and project management skills and the ability to search, critically analyze, and summarize scientific literature
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to interface cross-functionally in a dynamic, matrixed environment
