Staff4Me is hiring a Medical Billing Trainer to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs for our medical billing staff. In this role, you will provide essential education on billing processes, coding standards, and compliance regulations to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the billing cycle, directly supporting our organization’s revenue cycle performance.

What You'll Do

Design and develop training materials, manuals, and resources tailored to the medical billing department's needs.
Facilitate engaging training sessions for new hires and existing staff on medical billing software, coding standards (CPT, ICD-10), and compliance regulations.
Evaluate knowledge gaps and training needs to create targeted training programs.
Provide ongoing education on changes in billing regulations, payer policies, and medical coding updates.
Monitor staff performance post-training to assess knowledge retention and skill application.
Gather trainee feedback to continuously improve training materials and methods.
Work closely with management and team leaders to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and outcomes.
Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in medical billing and coding.

What We're Looking For

2-5 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
In-depth understanding of medical billing processes, coding guidelines, compliance regulations, and healthcare reimbursement models.
Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
Ability to create engaging training materials and resources.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing software.
Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Medical Coder (CMC) certification.
