Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and institutional buildings
- Perform engineering calculations and system load analyses
- Develop construction documentation and technical specifications
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines
- Support project managers in meeting client requirements
- Conduct site inspections and construction administration
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards
- Prepare engineering reports and design summaries
- Assist in project scoping and feasibility studies
- Use computer-aided design and modeling software
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Participate in design reviews and client meetings
