You'll create detailed mechanical designs for conveyor technology used in container and light load handling, focusing on functionality, safety, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert project requirements into comprehensive system concepts and mechanical layouts.
  • Analyze material flow patterns and design custom solutions, including ergonomic work zones.
  • Perform mechanical safety evaluations and specify necessary protective measures.
  • Work closely with compliance teams on risk analysis and safety inspections.
  • Plan access routes for maintenance, transport, and emergency egress.
  • Coordinate with structural, controls, and installation teams to ensure system compatibility.
  • Participate in customer discussions and engineering reviews to clarify technical needs.
  • Define mechanical components such as drives, rollers, belts, guides, and support structures.
  • Generate detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation including BOMs and SAP data.
  • Support installation teams with remote and on-site engineering guidance.
  • Ensure smooth handover of designs to commissioning and field teams.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on applied design. Experience in mechanical systems design—particularly in industrial or complex automation environments—is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools like SolidWorks is required. Familiarity with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Navisworks, or SAP is an advantage. You must be comfortable working in a multinational setting, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively in English. Occasional international travel (up to 10%) may be required.

This hybrid position is based in Kaunas or Vilnius, with access to modern office spaces and flexible work arrangements. You’ll collaborate with diverse, globally connected teams on innovative warehouse automation projects using advanced intralogistics technologies. The company supports professional growth through learning platforms, talent development programs, and international project exposure.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is €2600–3800 gross per month, depending on experience and competencies.
