Responsibilities
- Develop and implement mechanical analysis solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems.
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support the design and development of mechanical components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
- Analyze and optimize mechanical system performance.
- Identify and mitigate mechanical system risks.
- Develop and validate mechanical system models.
- Conduct mechanical system testing and validation.
- Support the development of mechanical system prototypes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on mechanical components.
- Monitor and control mechanical system costs.
- Support the development of mechanical system specifications.
- Conduct mechanical system reliability analysis.
- Support the development of mechanical system maintenance plans.
- Analyze and optimize mechanical system efficiency.
- Support the development of mechanical system safety plans.
- Conduct mechanical system failure analysis.
- Support the development of mechanical system test plans.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with nuclear or advanced reactor technologies.
- Familiarity with thermal-hydraulic analysis.
- Knowledge of neutronics and reactor physics.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA).
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python.
- Familiarity with ANSYS or similar simulation software.
- Experience with mechanical system optimization.
