Arrow Electronics is hiring a ME Product Interface Quality Lead to own product interface quality through pre-production and production phases. You will lead problem resolution, manage bill of materials, and drive process improvements as a key representative on our Continuous Process Improvement Team.
What You'll Do
- Provide pre-production support and troubleshooting, including pre-production Bill of Materials.
- Serve as representative on the Continuous Process Improvement Team.
- Initiate, track, and respond to Change Requests and Decision Notices.
- Resolve problems at PIT and assembly factories.
- Track Engineering Service Orders.
- Provide plant launch support, including managing material shortages and spill/crisis support.
- Manage a problem resolution/prioritization system and track problem resolution.
- Interface with specifications to ensure accuracy for pre-production and production runs.
- Support Plant Tryout and Production Test Run execution.
- Maintain the Bill of Material tool—ensuring accurate content and change approval.
- Support development plan validation ownership.
- Work on special projects.
- Assist in regulating and monitoring compliance.
- Drive cost reduction and generate technical solutions for current, new, and major programs.
- Assist in developing some engineering projects, including subsystems.
- Assist in implementing engineering changes.
- Specify and balance system requirements.
- Implement test/development programs.
- Communicate, coordinate, and consult with engineering departments and customers.
- Stay current on new technologies and competitive products.
- May travel to plants as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
