Vira Health is offering an MBA Summer Internship focused on Business Development for the Asia-Pacific region. This is a hands-on sales role where you will drive outbound prospecting and build pipeline for our women's and family health technology, working directly with senior leadership.
What You'll Do
- Identify and engage employer clients and distribution partners across target APAC markets through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Build and manage an outbound prospect pipeline in English and at least one regional language, from initial contact to qualified opportunity.
- Conduct discovery conversations with prospective employer clients and channel partners to assess fit with Vira's solutions.
- Navigate market-specific factors including regulatory environments, cultural attitudes, and corporate wellness purchasing norms.
- Localise sales materials, pitch decks, and product collateral for APAC audiences, ensuring cultural sensitivity and linguistic accuracy.
- Develop outreach sequences and messaging tailored to specific regional markets.
- Track all prospect interactions and pipeline activity accurately in CRM tools.
- Report on outreach activity, pipeline progress, and key learnings to senior leadership regularly.
- Deliver a concise market and pipeline summary at the close of the internship, including recommendations for continued APAC outreach.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an MBA programme with an expected graduation of 2025 or 2026.
- Fluent English required.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one regional language.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a pipeline in a remote-first, cross-time-zone environment.
- Genuine interest in women's health, digital health, or health-tech.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa, or another APAC language strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with at least one APAC market, particularly employer benefits, group insurance, or corporate wellness.
