Company is seeking a Materials and Corrosion Engineer to lead the oversight of materials and corrosion for all PTTGC group operations and projects. You will maintain plant technical integrity through a dedicated management system, engineering projects, and reliability programs.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert technical consultancy on corrosion engineering, including materials selection, Basic Design Review, and corrosion control system design.
- Provide expert technical consultancy on corrosion management strategy, covering integrity process review, execution, analysis, and improvement.
- Conduct asset integrity assessments for all PTTGC plants and affiliates.
- Implement staff competency development aligned with the Engineering Progression Scheme or Engineering and Maintenance family.
- Contribute to and enhance technical knowledge through COE/COP workshops, conferences, and training programs.
- Participate in the technical review, update, and development of company standards and recommended practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Welding, or Materials Engineering with a focus on Materials and Corrosion.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer or Adjunct Engineer according to Thai laws.
- 3-10 years of experience in corrosion and inspection within a refinery or petrochemical environment.
Nice to Have
- API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector certification.
- API 571 Damage Mechanisms Affecting Fixed Equipment in the Refining Industry certification.
- API 580 Risk Based Inspection certification.
