Bourns, Inc. seeks a Material Planner to join our team in Heredia, Costa Rica. In this onsite role, you will analyze the demand of your assigned business area to generate production schedules that achieve our organizational delivery dates and financial goals.

What You'll Do

Analyze incoming demand in SAP to maintain and ensure delivery goals.
Review incoming demand with special requests for early delivery to meet customer requirements.
Generate timely production schedules to meet established shipping dates.
Create production schedules so that inventory levels remain within established goals.
Analyze model demand to determine required production plant capacity.
Schedule the production of materials needed to fulfill customer requests.
Maintain a clean workplace and support colleagues in training to ensure compliance with the 6Ss.
Fulfill responsibilities regarding occupational health, hygiene, and the environment, reporting safety anomalies.
Support continuous improvement processes and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
