About the Role
The role involves maintaining and optimizing master data management processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and govern master data across product, customer, and supplier domains
- Collaborate with IT and business units to define data standards and policies
- Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and enrichment activities
- Support integration of master data with ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms
- Develop and document data governance frameworks and workflows
- Lead data onboarding initiatives for new business units or acquisitions
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Manage user access and roles within master data systems
- Drive adoption of master data best practices across departments
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Participate in system upgrades and data migration projects
- Create reports and dashboards to track data health metrics
- Facilitate training sessions for data stewards and end users
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements
- Work with vendors and third parties on data integration efforts
- Standardize data naming, classification, and hierarchy structures
- Evaluate new tools and technologies for data management enhancement
- Coordinate with data architects on schema design and modeling
- Support audit readiness and documentation for data controls
- Promote a culture of data ownership and accountability
