About the Role

Stride, Inc. is looking for a Marketing Specialist (Contractor) to support the planning, development, and execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns for our portfolio of online schools. In this role, you will help drive new student enrollment and increase engagement by ensuring prospective families understand the value propositions of our local schools.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that support enrollment and engagement goals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver campaign assets across channels including paid media, social media, email, digital events, and SEO.
  • Contribute to the creation of messaging and marketing content aligned with school value propositions.
  • Collaborate with external earned media agencies to execute local and regional public relations campaigns.
  • Partner with creative, product, and school leadership teams to ensure accuracy of campaign materials.
  • Use market research insights to inform campaign strategy, positioning, and content development.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives and apply findings to improve campaign performance.
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and recommend optimizations.
  • Maintain organized documentation for marketing plans, timelines, deliverables, and results.
  • Contribute to new product launches by coordinating cross-functional efforts and developing launch materials.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure timely, clear, and accurate communication with stakeholders throughout campaign cycles.
  • Stay informed on trends, tools, and best practices in K–12 education, digital marketing, and product marketing.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of professional or internship experience in marketing, communications, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistently meets deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High standards for quality and accountability in deliverables.
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to leverage technology effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience using and reporting on marketing performance metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities to deliver results.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time (minimal travel, e.g., school board meetings, video shoots, team building events).
  • Ability to clear required background check.

Nice to Have

  • Experience or interest in the K–12 education or edtech sector.
  • Previous collaboration with cross-functional remote teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Team & Environment

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of School Marketing, you will work within a fast-paced, collaborative marketing team in a corporate marketing department.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $15.14 - $28.84 per hour.
