Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is an important individual contributor within the Marketing division, expected to be collaborative, results-driven, and highly organized. You will support the manager and team on identified projects, creating the building blocks of marketing plans while learning the fundamentals of strategic marketing in a patient-first organization.
What You'll Do
- Understand the scope and objectives of assigned projects and deliver against those objectives.
- Develop key elements of marketing plans and create marketing materials.
- Support strong internal client relationships by understanding needs, delivering high-quality materials, and managing feedback.
- Collaborate with internal clients and Digital Team partners to develop email communications.
- Create, troubleshoot, update, and maintain the digital content calendar for email campaigns.
- Coordinate with Service Line teams on digital channel marketing campaigns.
- Consolidate and manage universal opt-out lists.
- Create and provide reporting related to campaign performance.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of comparable experience.
- An additional 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proactive and constructive attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience using HTML.
- Experience with email creation platforms, preferably Eloqua.
- Experience with project management software and workflow systems, preferably Workfront.
- Experience with website analytics and site improvement tools.
- Understanding of the healthcare industry and academic medical centers.
- Agency or client-side healthcare marketing experience or internship.
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing or a related field.
