About the Role

Digital Career Institute GmbH is hiring a Marketing Manager*in - Paid Search (m/w/d) to develop, implement, and manage Paid Search campaigns across all funnel stages to acquire qualified new customers for HEY HOLY. You will analyze search intent and target group behavior to develop relevant messaging hypotheses, test new formats and channels, and continuously optimize campaigns based on data.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and manage Paid Search campaigns (primarily Google & Microsoft Ads) across all funnel stages to acquire qualified new customers.
  • Develop targeted search strategies based on previous search performance and implement them with internal and external partners.
  • Analyze search intent and target group behavior using keyword data, search insights, reviews, and community feedback to develop relevant messaging hypotheses.
  • Test new formats, channels, and experiment setups (e.g., Performance Max, Demand Gen, Reddit Ads) to develop scalable growth paths.
  • Evaluate campaign data and user journeys to derive concrete optimization measures for keywords, ad copy, target groups, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
  • Plan and manage the budget according to efficiency and growth goals, ensuring optimal allocation between brand, generic, and prospecting campaigns.
  • Stay current on SEA trends, AI features, and best practices to continuously improve search excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SEA / Paid Search.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Familiarity with GA4 & Shopify.
  • Understanding of all relevant SEA KPIs and ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and translate insights into hypotheses and optimizations.
  • Understanding of dog parents—their characteristics, priorities, and pain points.
  • Structured, proactive, and implementation-oriented work style with attention to detail.
  • Native-level German language skills.
  • Good to very good English skills (minimum B2 level).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in D2C or E-commerce environment with a focus on full-funnel new customer acquisition.
  • Experience with attribution tools or Performance Max setups.
