Marriott Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Marketing Executive to promote brand awareness and maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty. You will be responsible for communicating with potential owners via telephone to set up and sell preview package tours for our vacation club properties.
What You'll Do
- Promote brand image awareness internally and externally.
- Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Communicate with potential owners via telephone to set up preview package sales and tours.
- Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales and tours.
- Explain details and requirements related to attending a sales presentation.
- Verify eligibility requirements for preview packages prior to scheduling a tour.
- Determine and give complimentaries to guests, such as rewards points or show tickets.
- Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
- Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and thank them with genuine appreciation.
- Speak using clear and professional language, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and listen to the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Nice to Have
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
