Valtech is looking for a Marketing Automation Analyst to own the implementation, sustenance, and operation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be responsible for platform administration, configuration, and development using its core products and extended features.
What You'll Do
- Implement and troubleshoot account configuration including Business Units, users, roles, permissions, profiles, SAP, RMM, subscriber filters, SFTP, and preference centers.
- Configure and set up data models and manage subscriber and related data.
- Implement data quality processes and co-create blueprints and technical evidence reports for each delivery.
- Configure Marketing Cloud products such as Email Studio, CloudPages, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, Mobile Connect, Mobile Push, and Contact Builder in line with digital marketing best practices.
- Develop dynamic and personalized marketing assets like emails, landing pages, webforms, and custom preference pages.
- Implement integrations via FTP, APIs, MC Connect, MobilePush, and Journey Builder SDKs.
- Perform account monitoring, auditing, reporting, analytics, and register hours/activities on the organization’s platform.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration and configuration experience.
- 2+ years of experience with knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, REST and/or SOAP APIs.
- Requirement gathering knowledge and experience with user story documentation and acceptance criteria definition.
- Proven background in data modeling and subscriber data management, ensuring accuracy, segmentation, and compliance with data quality standards.
- Experience designing and implementing data quality processes and working with large datasets to support marketing automation.
- Strong track record in configuring and optimizing Marketing Cloud products.
- Demonstrated ability to develop dynamic and personalized marketing assets, including responsive emails, landing pages, webforms, and custom preference pages.
- Practical experience in system integrations using FTP, REST/SOAP APIs, MC Connect, MobilePush, and SDKs.
- Solid skills in account monitoring, auditing, reporting, and analytics to measure performance and ensure best practices.
- Experience collaborating in blueprint design and technical documentation for project deliveries.
- Proficiency in project and task management tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing best practices, agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Consultancy companies background.
- Upper intermediate English level.
- Being proactive, hands on, eager to learn, and having an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP, RMM, and working in multinational environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Certifications like Trailhead Ranger and Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.
- Complete University Studies in IT related areas.
- Portuguese language skills.
