Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is hiring a Market and Technology Researcher for its Industrial High Frequency Systems (IHS) division. In this role, you will provide essential services in market, competition, and technology research, offering strategic support for the division's research and acquisition activities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth internet research on competitors and potential project or consortium partners, analyzing company websites and relevant patent databases.
- Continuously monitor public tenders at national and EU levels to identify strategically relevant funding and project opportunities.
- Perform trend analyses, technological forecasts, and examine market and price structures for strategic classification.
- Prepare results for management-level presentation for division and department heads.
- Maintain structured documentation in the Confluence area 'Research & Market Analysis'.
- Develop and conduct targeted training on market research and analysis for internal units and external partners to build sustainable competence.
What We're Looking For
- A completed Master's degree in industrial engineering, economics, technology management, engineering sciences, or a comparable field.
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, with pronounced communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
- Experience in market research, competitive analysis, trend and forecast analysis, and monitoring of markets and tenders.
- The ability to structure information, create reliable decision-making bases, and apply suitable analysis and evaluation methods.
- An understanding of technical contexts, ideally in the field of industrial high-frequency systems or comparable technology-oriented industries.
- Independent work style, strategic thinking, teamwork, and high reliability and discretion.
