Marelli is looking for a Manufacturing Workforce Planning Manager to develop and execute workforce strategies that support our operational objectives. This senior leader ensures optimal staffing, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing plant, working within a fast-paced yet supportive international team.
What You'll Do
- Formulate and implement comprehensive workforce strategies aligned with plant goals and production forecasts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary workforce planning team.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs for efficiency, productivity, line balancing, and labor standards.
- Lead transformation initiatives, deploying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digitalization to drive process improvements.
- Define optimal staffing models, shift structures, and labor allocation to maximize productivity and manage demand fluctuations.
- Ensure robust adherence to internal policies, union agreements, and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and labor relations.
- Work closely with HR, Production, Operations, and Safety teams to optimize workforce processes.
- Identify and lead automation initiatives and adoption of advanced workforce management technologies.
- Establish and manage departmental budgets and lead cost management projects.
- Represent the plant in internal and external audits and act as a technical authority for time & motion studies and workforce analytics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in workforce planning or production management, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Proven managerial experience leading diverse teams and continuous improvement projects.
- Strong expertise in process analysis, workforce management, labor regulations, and KPI development.
- Advanced proficiency in workforce planning tools including SAP, Excel, and analytics platforms.
- Fluent in English.

- Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s in Operations.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages.
