Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve manufacturing systems, workflows, and production processes to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
- Drive process enhancements in tooling, systems, and manufacturing methods to boost output and reduce inefficiencies.
- Partner with production staff to resolve technical challenges impacting manufacturing performance.
- Create and manage documentation such as work instructions, process diagrams, and system protocols.
- Support New Product Introduction by verifying manufacturing readiness and process reliability.
- Evaluate production and operational metrics to detect patterns and support continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to enhance yield, minimize defects, and ensure process consistency.
- Assist in deploying and refining manufacturing systems including MES, ERP, and production monitoring tools.
- Engage in Lean manufacturing and operational excellence efforts at the Kassel site.
- Promote standardized processes and improve transparency of production performance across manufacturing teams.
