HYPR is hiring a Manual QA Software Engineer (SDET) to join our team. This role is focused on ensuring an excellent customer experience through meticulous manual testing and quality advocacy. You will work on our mobile and desktop applications, contributing to our quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Be responsible for manual testing of our products.
- Test mobile and desktop applications across platforms.
- Break up complex features into clear, testable pieces.
- Build testing solutions that scale and perform effectively.
- Work closely with the development team and QA to share knowledge and improve quality practices.
- Learn new systems and integrations quickly, communicating challenges and advantages clearly.
- Participate in the full development life cycle, adding insights to requirements, designs, and code reviews.
- Drive best practices in the efficient use of simulation, automation, and manual test techniques to provide highest business value.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of professional software testing experience.
- Proven experience in test design and execution.
- Hands-on experience with iOS or Android application testing.
- Experience with Web and API testing.
- Experience working on fast-paced SaaS teams.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of how to test complex distributed systems.
- Experience testing security or authentication systems.
- Experience testing with virtual machines.
- Good working knowledge of Cross Browser and Cross Device testing.
