Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement market entry strategies for the MedTech sector.
  • Create operational structures, service offerings, and core materials to launch and grow the practice.
  • Guide the strategic vision of the MedTech vertical in line with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in MedTech investor relations and influence industry conversations.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives focused on operations, expansion, and strategic planning.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate innovative ideas for clients and the firm.
  • Produce marketing content and pitch new client engagements to support growth and diversification.
  • Use an established network to increase inbound business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with investors, financial analysts, and investment bankers to strengthen reputation.
  • Appear at industry conferences, investor meetings, and digital platforms as a representative and speaker.
  • Lead a client portfolio of 7–10 Biotech and MedTech companies, delivering tailored investor relations strategies.
  • Advise executive leaders on investor communication, messaging, and market positioning.
  • Create high-quality materials such as investor decks, press releases, earnings statements, and thought leadership content.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity.
  • Supervise a team of early-career professionals.
  • Train and develop team members in alignment with a collaborative and mission-oriented culture.
  • Support professional advancement and reinforce values of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
  • Model leadership that combines ambition with integrity and cooperation.
  • Ensure financial performance and operational effectiveness within the vertical.
  • Establish performance indicators and adopt best practices for ongoing improvement.
  • Oversee client contracts, retainers, budgeting, and accurate billing processes.
  • Work with internal departments to improve resource use and client results.
