Cushman & Wakefield Global, Inc is hiring a Managing Director, Data Centers, Project & Development Services (PDS). This role will join the Data Center Practice Group and partner with PDS Leadership to implement its strategic direction. You will act as a trusted business advisor for business development and operational plans.
What You'll Do
- Lead business development for the Data Practice Group, identifying and cultivating internal and external client relationships.
- Support RFP responses and presentations to sell Data Center Services for PDS.
- Collaborate with market, regional, and account resources to develop assignment solutions, pricing models, and proposals.
- Assist in resourcing personnel where specific markets or accounts lack appropriate project resources.
- Chair monthly practice group meetings and conference calls with internal personnel.
- Support PDS Leadership on operational models, risk mitigation, and strategic initiatives to grow the Data Center Practice Group.
- Support the marketing of the PDS Data Center Practice Group to external client stakeholders and internal service lines.
- Assist in creating and implementing standards for delivery, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
- Deepen client insight by gathering information from clients and project teams to deliver outstanding service.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 15 to 20+ years of Design and Construction experience specifically in the Data Center industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing Data Center projects of varying size and complexity, including strategic planning, entitlements, development, and renovations.
- Experience collaborating on and supporting real estate transactions generally associated with Data Center projects.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degrees, a General Contractor's license, Project Management Institute (PMP) designation, or LEED certification.
- Knowledge and application of a disciplined Project Management process, such as Six Sigma.

This role is part of the Data Center Practice Group for Project & Development Services (PDS) and reports to PDS Leadership.
