GV Health is seeking a Manager to lead the operational and clinical management of the Mental Health Access Team and Consultation Liaison and Addiction Psychiatry services. You will play a pivotal role in delivering quality mental health and wellbeing support for people in the Goulburn Valley, focusing on acute and crisis treatment in community and Emergency Department settings.
What You'll Do
- Manage the operational and clinical performance of the Mental Health Access Team and Consultation Liaison and Addiction Psychiatry.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality mental health and wellbeing services for individuals requiring acute and crisis treatment.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships between acute mental health services, consumers, and their families to ensure appropriate and timely access to care.
What We're Looking For
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the mental health field.
- Excellent leadership skills to foster and maintain a positive team culture.
- Highly developed clinical skills with significant experience in community-based mental health.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability in conflict resolution strategies.
