About the Role

What You'll Do

Drive the strategy and execution of comprehensive total rewards programs, aligning compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness with organizational goals. Lead the development and management of salary structures, job evaluation frameworks, and annual pay cycles to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.

Oversee benefits and pension offerings, including vendor coordination and employee communication, to ensure clarity and engagement. Strengthen recognition and wellbeing initiatives that reflect a supportive and inclusive culture. Use data and analytics to assess program performance, pay equity, and market positioning, delivering insights that inform leadership decisions.

Supervise and develop a small, high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Partner closely with HR and business leaders to ensure rewards strategies support talent goals and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in total rewards, with expertise in compensation design and labor market analysis
  • Familiarity with benefits administration, pension plans, and employee wellness programming
  • Strong analytical abilities and clear, effective communication skills
  • Leadership experience in program management or team development, with a collaborative and inclusive approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating in multi-site or complex organizational environments
  • Exposure to unionized workforces
  • Professional designations such as CPHR, CEBS, or CCP are considered assets
