About the Role

ALDO Group is hiring a Manager Telecom to ensure the overall success of all projects within a designated geographical area or specific business segment. This leadership role is responsible for providing ethical management, communication, and accountability to drive customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and future business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Assume complete responsibility for the assigned Construction Division, including its operations, equipment, and facilities.
  • Hold others accountable for safety requirements, worker’s compensation loss management, and DOT compliance.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives for efficient service delivery.
  • Analyze and report key performance indicators for divisional operations.
  • Monitor and hold others accountable to effective work schedules and quality control programs.
  • Work closely with Project Management personnel to ensure smooth departmental handoffs and information flow.
  • Acquire complete knowledge of assigned contracts, including units, pricing, and systems, and train direct reports.
  • Seek new business opportunities and be actively involved in bid compilation and contract negotiations.
  • Negotiate unit additions with the customer as they arise.
  • Actively monitor business finances on a weekly basis and adjust work activities to prioritize financial success.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and contract terms for all work performed.
  • Manage equipment procurement using cost vs benefit analysis and ensure maintenance to established standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy of employee time and production records.
  • Participate in the onboarding process of new Subcontractors.
  • Effectively acquire and manage an appropriate workforce in correlation with customer demands.
  • Deliver and document both positive and negative feedback in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain individual employee development plans and seek implementation opportunities.
  • May perform the duties of field personnel as needed.

  • Proficient word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and cloud-based computer skills.

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of the Google suite of applications.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in an industry-related Engineering or Project Management field and 2-4 years of hands-on Telecommunications industry-specific experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
