Celestica is looking for a Manager, Supply Chain to drive the strategic planning and inventory processes, tools, and applications for the site. In this role, you will advance expertise in planning and inventory management while coaching and mentoring your team on their strategic activities.
What You'll Do
- Drive the team to manage material shortages to ensure Clear to Builds in collaboration with Purchasing and the SLM Team.
- Act as a liaison between customer project management and internal departments on new product requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate demand management and execution of the SIOP Process.
- Manage Excess, Surplus, and Obsolete inventory, identifying impacts and driving mitigation actions.
- Ensure bills of material are accurate and collaborate on engineering changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve Inventory Entitlement targets and meet Inventory goals.
- Lead the team to maintain continuous Material Supply to achieve targeted inventory levels and turns.
- Ensure team performs material, capacity, and Financial Impact Analysis before loading the MPS.
- Work with other departments to review and dispose of non-conforming materials.
- Ensure production schedules meet customer requirements for high on-time delivery.
- Drive necessary actions to meet revenue goals and manage RMA orders to meet repair commitments.
- Monitor planning parameters (ROP & SS) to optimize inventory levels.
- Maintain responsibility for SCM Team training, performance management, development, and compensation.
- Reassign personnel as necessary and act as a liaison with customers on forecast commitments.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve supplyflex programs.
- Submit Investment Inventories for non-standard material.
- Follow global procedures and collaborate with Global and Segment teams on the Inventory Management Operating System.
- Manage KRIs, Planning Metrics, and drive continuous improvements of the SCM function.
- Oversee the annual physical inventory, site surplus/excess sale process, and scrap material disposition.
- Develop and execute site inventory management processes including forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
- Oversee the design, development, integration, and maintenance of SCM systems, tools, processes, and training.
- Manage the Celestica HUB process.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials, and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of global supply chain management, distribution methods, global and local transportation services, and inventory management.
- Good understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem solve a variety of tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of audiences.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively lead, manage, assess, train, and motivate a diverse group of employees.
- ERP System Logic Understanding.
- Rapid Response Kinaxis System Knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Knowledge.
- Basic Statistical Analysis Knowledge applied to Supply Chain.
- Ability to maintain external contacts for benchmarking and networking.
- Regular travel will be required.

- Working knowledge pertaining to Free Trade Agreements, HS Tariff, Duty/VAT, ITAR regulations, Sanctions and Embargoes.
