Drata seeks a Manager, Software Engineering to provide technical leadership and ensure the successful delivery of our product roadmap. In this role, you will manage and mentor a talented team of engineers, driving technical decisions and fostering a collaborative development environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage and mentor a highly skilled team of Software Engineers.
- Understand and practice agile software development and management.
- Guide and implement standards for planning and prioritization to ensure successful quarterly delivery of the product roadmap.
- Lead technical discussions and drive effective technical decisions within your area.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to support business requests and application troubleshooting.
- Operate and develop across various levels of the SDLC.
- Create estimations for proposed changes and development.
- Manage all day-to-day tasks and resources for the team.
- Plan, develop, test, support, and bug fix.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of software engineering management.
- Minimum of 6 years designing, developing and delivering software products.
- Knowledge of SaaS operations and modern technical SaaS tools and their integration.
- Eagerness to share ideas and learn from other team members.
- Strong communication skills to clearly describe and discuss problems.
- Experience designing and deploying applications in a cloud-based environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with React, Javascript, TypeScript, NodeJS, OOP, TypeORM, MySQL, Git, and AWS.
- Experience managing performance metrics.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree or professional certification.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish.

- Tier 1: $179,800 - $222,000; Tier 2: $161,800 - $199,900; Tier 3: $143,800 - $177,600 + equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
