CYBEX is seeking a Manager of Soft Goods Engineering to lead our textile engineering function. In this role, you will be responsible for designing product patterns and ensuring quality standards for CYBEX's soft goods portfolio, collaborating closely with design and production teams throughout the development lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop product patterns for new items that meet both aesthetic and technical specifications.
- Inspect and verify production patterns to ensure accuracy and consistency with design standards.
- Utilize CAD systems for precise pattern development, enhancing production efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement technical standards into product requirements to ensure industry compliance.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of quality standards, driving continuous improvement.
- Manage all technical documentation for production, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure alignment throughout product development.
- Monitor production facilities to confirm products meet design and quality standards.
- Test product samples to validate performance and quality requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Completed studies or an apprenticeship as a clothing technician, pattern constructor, or in a related field.
- Extensive experience in pattern development, quality control, and production within the textile or fashion industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hands-on experience with CAD software for pattern creation.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
