CYBEX is looking for a Manager Soft Goods Engineering to lead the design and development of precise product patterns that meet both aesthetic and technical specifications. In this role, you will be a key technical partner, ensuring our innovative products are developed with quality and consistency from concept through to production.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop product patterns for new products that fulfill both design and technical specifications.
- Validate production patterns to ensure accuracy and consistency with established design standards.
- Use CAD systems for the precise development of patterns to increase efficiency and accuracy in the production process.
- Implement and integrate technical standards into product requirements to meet industry specifications.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of quality standards for continuous improvement.
- Manage technical documentation for production to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure a unified product development process.
- Monitor production facilities to ensure products meet design and quality standards.
- Test patterns to verify they meet performance and quality requirements.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree or training as a clothing technician, pattern technician, or in a related field.
- Extensive experience in pattern development, quality control, and production within the textile or fashion industry.
- Proficient use of MS Office and experience with CAD software for pattern creation.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Structured and results-oriented working style with high attention to detail.
- Creativity and an innovative mindset for developing new solutions and patterns.
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
