About the Role
The Quality Engineering Manager will lead a team of quality engineers, focusing on the development and implementation of quality assurance processes. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and reliability, and will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in quality engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of quality engineers to develop and implement quality assurance processes.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct code reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure code quality.

- Work with development teams to integrate quality assurance into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality engineering.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues.
- Implement automated testing solutions to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in the development of software release plans.
- Provide input on software design and architecture to ensure testability.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure software meets performance requirements.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure software meets user needs and expectations.
- Participate in the development of software documentation.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
