Hilton is hiring a Manager, Project Support to join the Strategic Operations team within our Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC). You will support the team by developing analytics data products and designing performance dashboards to help Hilton hotels grow market share and outperform competitors.
What You'll Do
- Develop Python-based Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to create reports and tools.
- Author complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, aggregation, and reporting.
- Build Excel-based financial and operational tools using VBA, including macros, custom functions, PivotTable automation, and Power Query integration.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs, managing secure authentication and credential storage.
- Profile pipeline performance to optimize Python code and SQL execution plans.
- Document ETL processes, data models, and maintain a centralized data catalog.
- Partner with RMCC teams, Analytics, BI, and Commercial Services teams to translate use cases into scalable data products.
- Mentor junior analysts and developers in Python, SQL, and VBA best practices and lead knowledge-sharing workshops.
- Provide strategic advisory to business and technical partners on analytics best practices and data-product adoption.
- Collaborate with partners to define and measure performance metrics and evaluate data-product impact.
- Architect performance-outlook dashboards and self-service reporting tools that surface revenue and commercial trends.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of analytics data products.
- Design data models, such as star or snowflake schemas, to support reporting.
- Ensure compliance with security and data-governance policies, including secure credential management and access controls.
- Own and maintain project artifacts in GitLab, including housing SQL queries, data models, and supporting documentation using version control best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Five (5) years of professional experience in analytics or data-engineering roles.
- Experience authoring complex SQL (Redshift, SQL Server, MySQL) and stored procedures.
- Three (3) years of coding development experience with macros, automation, and PivotTables.
- Proficient in Python, including ETL frameworks, pandas, and NumPy, and advanced Excel skills with Power Query and functions.
- Demonstrated experience in data storytelling, including leading discovery with cross-functional teams, translating needs into clear narratives, and delivering storytelling-driven dashboards.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.

- Understanding of data-modeling principles, such as star or snowflake schemas.
- Partner and project management experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience with BI tools like MicroStrategy, Alteryx, or Power BI.
- Experience with Airtable, Salesforce, GitLab, and Power Automate.
