Henry Schein One LLC is hiring a Manager, Product Category Management Dental to be the internal expert driving sales, market share, and profitability for a substantial portfolio. You will be directly responsible for assigned categories, typically between $300 and $400 million in annual sales, and will manage at least one direct report.
What You'll Do
- Own all activities surrounding performance of assigned categories, including sales and market share analysis, identifying underperforming areas, and developing plans to drive sales.
- Manage the process for all new product submissions, determining acceptance/rejection, pricing, forecast, and opening order quantities.
- Oversee new item code creation, web attributes, catalog copy, and work with suppliers on promotional plans for launch.
- Determine products and pricing for flyers, negotiate buying deals with suppliers, and oversee communication to Inventory Management.
- Manage layout and presentation for categories in annual catalogs and flyers, performing competitive pricing analysis.
- Review and approve products identified by SKU Optimization for stocking, non-stocking, and inventory returns.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.
- 1 or more years of management experience.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, lead, and develop their team on processes and procedures.
Nice to Have
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline.
- Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
