As Manager of Partnerships, you will drive meaningful connections across Canada by cultivating relationships with faith-based organizations, schools, and youth networks. Your work will center on expanding community involvement and deepening support for a global mission that nourishes children through access to education.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engagement strategies tailored to dioceses, parishes, and youth audiences, including presentations, toolkits, and training resources
- Represent the organization at events, conferences, school visits, and worship gatherings
- Develop annual plans in collaboration with church and community leaders to grow local participation
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers, expanding pathways for involvement such as regional leads and digital advocates
- Recognize volunteer contributions and foster a culture of appreciation and impact
- Identify new partnership opportunities that align with organizational values and goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content for newsletters, social platforms, and campaigns
- Equip partners to share stories effectively, strengthening outreach through authentic narrative
- Work closely with marketing to highlight community efforts and amplify reach
- Support national strategy development to advance long-term mission objectives
Qualifications
You bring experience in community mobilization, volunteer coordination, or faith-based outreach, with a proven ability to connect with diverse groups. Strong communication skills, organizational discipline, and comfort with remote work are essential. You’re resourceful in lean environments and skilled at managing multiple relationships with care and consistency.
- Background in youth ministry, community engagement, or faith-based partnership development
- Confident public speaker with experience addressing groups in schools or religious settings
- Proficient in CRM systems and digital engagement platforms
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Canada, especially Ontario and Alberta
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Catholic communities is an asset, along with openness to diverse spiritual traditions
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with frequent travel across Canada to support events, church engagements, and volunteer initiatives. The ideal candidate may reside in or near the Greater Toronto Area or Calgary, where active volunteer networks are based.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary for this role is $75,000. Additional benefits include full health coverage, 25 days of vacation, and an 8% employer pension contribution. Employees earn an additional vacation day per year of service up to five years, with the option to purchase an extra week of leave.
